From one text to a reply.
What happens after you text your invite code, step by step, and the rules it follows along the way.
- Step 1
Get in with an invite
Text your invite code to (628) 789-5383 from your iPhone. You get one welcome text that says what marketanything does. Texting back means you're OK with it, with texts from us, and with our terms and privacy policy.
Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help or STOP to opt out.
- Step 2
It learns your business
It asks a few questions in the chat and looks up your public listing and website. Tell it what you sell, who your best customers are, your offers and prices, and the name you sign emails with.
It also asks once for your mailing address. US law requires one in every email, so nothing goes out until you give it. A PO box works.
- Step 3
It finds who can send you customers
It looks for businesses and people who already serve your customers: the property manager who needs a cleaner every season, the lender who meets every new home buyer, the gym whose members want what you sell.
- It uses published business details: name, website, address, phone and published email addresses.
- It writes to a named person only when their business publishes the address, or a contact-data source lists it as verified.
- It never guesses an email address.
- Step 4
It writes in your name
Each email is short, specific to the business it goes to, and signed with your name. It uses only the facts and offers you gave it, and never invents prices, discounts or claims. Ask for a change and the new version comes back to you first.
- Step 5
You see it, then it sends
It shows you each email in iMessage and on your dashboard.
- Your first day
Every email waits for your yes.
- After that
An email it has shown you goes 4 hours later, on a weekday between 8 AM and 6 PM your time, unless you say skip. Your yes sends it in that same window.
- Only counted
An email it only counted, as in
3 more are ready
, never goes without your yes. - Hold everything
Say
nothing goes out unless I say so
and every email waits for your yes until you lift it. - Pause or stop
Say pause to stop new work and resume to start again. Text STOP to end it.
- Limits
At most 3 emails a day for your account. Never the same business twice in 90 days, unless you ask for it by name.
- Never
It never posts anything publicly, never calls or texts businesses, and never buys, pays or signs anything for you. For pilots it reaches businesses by email only.
- Your first day
- Step 6
It follows up
If a business doesn't answer, it follows up at most twice on its own, on business days. It stops the moment they reply or ask it to stop.
- Step 7
Replies come to you
When a business replies, it texts you what they said. From then on the conversation is yours, and it doesn't email that business again for you.
When a business asks to stop, or its mail bounces or is marked as spam, no one using marketanything emails that address again.
- Step 8
Your dashboard keeps the record
A private link in your texts opens your dashboard: who it found, every email, what went, and who replied. You can say yes, skip or change any email there with a tap.
It never posts anything publicly, on any site or social network. It never calls, texts or messages businesses. It never buys anything, pays, signs contracts or creates accounts for you. For pilots it reaches businesses by email only, and it does not fill in website contact forms.
Ready when you are.
Sign-ups are invite-only for now.
